Jobs!Great Opportunities at NordsonContinuous Improvement Lead (M11-31)--The Continuous Improvement Lead provides analytical and technical support to the operations function, working closely with the Value Stream Lead. Outputs include making recommendations for Value Stream refinements, implementing Lean methods and tools to continuously improve processes and eliminate waste; utilize various tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, to analyze and improve manufacturing processes; investigate, analyze and determine the root cause of errors; trend and analyze production compliance issues and efficiency variables; implement solutions based on trending and data analysis; participate in the implementation of systems to maintain production conformance and health/safety guidelines. Will lead kaizen events in their responsible area.
Distribution Value Stream Lead (M11-33)--Direct, supervise, and coordinate warehouse operations, and manage distribution and receiving activities. Must be team and customer oriented. Responsible for managing packaging and shipment processes, shipment quality, cost management, meeting customers' shipping expectations, workforce planning, general departmental administration and driving continuous improvement into the warehouse.
Machinist (M11-32)--Performs activities necessary for the efficient manufacture and delivery of Nordson products. The requirement is to have a flexible work force that can respond appropriately to changing customer requirements. Must have the ability to Program, Setup/Operate CNC and conventional machines, their attachments and accessories. And must be able to utilize machine shop theory and practices.
Buyer (FY11-41)--Supports the manufacturing process by planning material requirements and purchasing the goods that support customer needs. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for a specified product line or commodity responsible for satisfying the customer needs while managing the costs and inventory.
Senior Inventory Control Analyst (FY11-45)--The Senior Inventory Control Analyst functions as a primary contact within manufacturing for inventory control related issues. This individual will be required to work with a broad range of functional areas to identify/define root causes of inventory problem, record errors, analyze alternatives, and develop and implement solutions.
Inventory Control Leader (FY11-44)--Responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Inventory Control Analysts. This individual functions as the primary contact for all Inventory Control Issues pertaining to the accounting, management, and movement of inventory within assigned areas. The Inventory Control Leader also acts independently to resolve problems while possessing the knowledge, experience, and ability to get results.
