Local officials, state officials, students and staff watched University System Chancellor Hank Huckaby cut the ribbon to officially open “Bobcat Villas.” The 200- bed facility is the East Georgia College’s first venture into campus housing.
- Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Swainsboro Antiques
- In a most unusual ceremony, members of the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce and local business community gather with Wesley Hendley, owner and operator of Mill Pond Kayak, LLC, to officially "launch" his new business. The new business will conduct tours of the 400-acre Watson Mill Pond at George L. Smith State Park and local rivers. Check the Chamber's "Membership Listing Page" for more information.
