Everything you need to know about the 2021 Pine Tree Festival

The 74.5 Pine Tree Festival is THIS weekend!

Rhythm & Pines is this Friday, May 7th, in downtown Swainsboro! The night will kick off at 6:00PM with music at the Gospel Stage located behind the Emanuel County Tax Office and Sam's Drive-In Band located on the downtown square. At 6:30PM, Rhett Blount & Friends will be playing at the Boneyard Farmers Market Shelter. Then, at 8:30PM, be sure to catch the Swingin' Medallions at the Boneyard Pavillion.

The festival will take place Saturday, May 8th, in downtown Swainsboro. Here’s everything you need to know about Saturday’s events!

The festivities will kick off with the Knotty Pine 5K at 8:00 AM (registration at 6:30 AM in Stewart’s Parking lot). Opening Ceremonies will take place in front of Patriots Park at 10:00 AM followed by the Grand Parade at 10:30 AM through downtown Swainsboro. There will be three showtimes (11:30 AM / 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM) for the Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show located behind the Emanuel County Tax Assessor’s Office. There will also be three showtimes for the Flight Crew Jump Rope Team (12:15 PM / 1:45 PM / 3:15 PM) performing at the intersection of Highway #1 and Highway #80. Several events and activities will be available ALL DAY including The Pine Tree Festival Car Show at The Boneyard, The Pine Tree Festival Antique Tractor Show lining Patriots Park, arts & crafts, and food vendors in the new Emanuel County parking lot on E. Main St., chainsaw carving on Roger Shaw St., the Kids Zone behind the Emanuel County Tax Assessor’s Office, and a mechanical bull in the Leannas back parking lot. The Parade Awards will take place in front of Patriots Park at 3:00 PM as the festival wraps up. The fun will continue Saturday night at Party in the Pines. Head to the Georgia Sports Arena for Ultimate Bullfighting at 7:00 PM!
