We will celebrate the “74 ½ Pine Tree Festival” on May 7th-8th. Although the festival will look a little different than the festivals in the past, the festival committee felt that it was important to have the event this year. The festival will be scaled back and reorganized a bit to allow for social distancing. The “74 ½” comes from the group’s desire to still have a big “75th anniversary blowout” next year, which will also mark the city’s bicentennial. It will also serve as a way of letting people know up-front that this year’s festival will be different from what they are accustomed to.
